Ab Ara began operations in 1995 to improve irrigation efficiency and lower per-hectare operating overheads. Over three decades, and backed by an experienced engineering team, in-house quality labs, and ongoing collaboration with research centers, the company has become Iran’s largest manufacturer of pressurized and sprinkler irrigation equipment. With headquarters in Tehran and a fully equipped plant in Eshtehard Industrial Town (Alborz), Ab Ara controls an integrated supply chain from R&D to mass production. This infrastructure enables short update cycles, fast commercialization of innovations, and the setting of new benchmarks for the irrigation industry.
Product Portfolio & Manufacturing Technology
Aban Sprinkler Series
Full-circle and adjustable Aban sprinklers with a 24° trajectory deliver uniform distribution even under typical field winds. A corrosion-resistant alloy body, replaceable nozzles, and UV-resistant O-rings stand out. Operating pressure: 2.5–5 bar. Flow: 0.9–3.8 L/s. Ideal for field crops, orchards, and urban green spaces.
Quick-Valve Automatic Polymer Valve
Quick-Valve features a reinforced engineering-polymer body and modular design. Head loss is under 3 m of water column. Sizes: 1″, 1½”, and 2″. An internal spring mechanism ensures automatic, leak-free open/close. The standard female thread simplifies integration with existing risers and fittings.
UPVC Risers
Ab Ara UPVC risers come in 1″, 1½”, and 2″ diameters, with heights from 30 to 75 cm. Standard BSP threads, high chemical resistance, and low weight speed up transport and installation. Impact tests from −50 to +60 °C show reliable performance through daily and seasonal cycles.
Polymer Fittings & Accessories
Polymer service saddles and quick couplings allow branching and reconfiguring the network without welding or numerous bolts. Ergonomic grips make line open/close up to 40% faster than conventional systems.

Engineering Services, Support & Distribution
Beyond manufacturing, Ab Ara provides hydraulic design, 3D network modeling, and turnkey implementation of sprinkler systems. Using EPANET and IrriPro alongside field experience, the team designs pipelines and pump stations with controlled head loss and uniform water distribution. In-person and online training, installation teams across provinces, and 24/7 support extend product lifecycle with up to five years of warranty and after-sales service.
Competitive Advantages & Quality Achievements
- Product range: 120+ SKUs from sprinklers to ductile-iron flanges.
- Materials localization: engineered domestic compounds enhance supply continuity and manufacturing agility.
- Certifications: ISO 9001, approval from Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture Jihad, and testing by the Karaj Agricultural Machinery institute.
- Proven durability and value: field comparisons in 2024 across multiple provinces reported ~1.3× durability versus imported averages.
