In the fast-growing polymer sector, SepehrFoam polyethylene foams deliver a modern solution for energy management, structural lightweighting, and equipment protection. Their uniform, closed-cell structure comes from state-of-the-art technology, multi-stage extrusion lines, and tightly controlled chemical crosslinking—where polymer chains are linked by peroxide or radiation to create a robust 3D network with outstanding mechanical and thermal stability. This stable network underpins very low thermal conductivity, minimal water uptake, and effective impact absorption—making SepehrFoam a fit for everything from insulating hot/cold water pipes to gym flooring and automotive energy absorbers.

Sepehr Polymer Espadana supplies three main foam families under the SepehrFoam brand:

Base formulations are completed with REACH- and RoHS-compliant additives—thermal stabilizers, flame-retardant masterbatch, UV absorbers, and organic pigments—to ensure durability in corrosive atmospheres, sunlight, and fire-safety–critical environments. During foaming, butane or a butane/pentane blend is injected; the precise gas-to-melt ratio and extruder pressure yield the target density and a fine 80–120 cells/cm microcellular structure. For foam tubes, servo-controlled sizing dies replace classic calibrators to keep diameter and wall thickness consistent over long lengths. In XPE, a Continuous Infrared crosslinking unit shortens residence time and cuts energy use by up to 30%.


Key Features of SepehrFoam

  • Thermal & acoustic insulation: XPS grades achieve λ below 0.033 W/m·K, markedly reducing energy losses in piping networks and cavity walls. The cellular layer also acts as a multi-barrier, attenuating low-to-mid-frequency noise by up to 23 dB.
  • Chemical resistance: The non-polar PE backbone and crosslinking deliver excellent stability against dilute acids/bases, soluble salts, and hydrocarbon fuels—critical in refinery and petrochemical lines exposed to corrosive vapors.
  • Stable mechanics: Higher-density XPE (up to 45 kg/m³) reaches ~250 kPa compressive strength at 10% strain, so gym floors maintain thickness even under concentrated loads.
  • Fire safety: An ATH (aluminum trihydrate) + organophosphorus FR package slows flame spread and lowers toxic smoke. LOI reaches up to 28% in selected grades—exceeding requirements for hospital MEP insulation.
  • Eco-profile: CFC-free foaming and mechanical recyclability support a more sustainable lifecycle.

Custom preforms to your 3D drawings are cut by CNC knife and waterjet—widely used in automotive for battery supports and bumper energy absorbers.


Building Applications

In residential and commercial projects, SepehrFoam pipe insulation is installed over PEX and multilayer (PEX-AL-PEX) lines to limit heat loss on hot water and prevent condensation on chilled water. By lowering the effective heat-transfer coefficient by up to 80%, systems run fewer hours and overall energy use improves. Grooved XPS panels, thanks to <0.2% water absorption, are a reliable choice for inverted roofs and green roofs versus lightweight aggregates.

Automotive

Inside the cabin, XPE sheets with aluminum foil laminates adhere behind the dashboard to damp engine noise and block radiant exhaust heat. Outside, EPE foam, compression-formed to the front bumper liner, absorbs impact energy at speeds up to 8 km/h without permanent deformation. In line with FMVSS 215, this approach significantly reduces bumper replacements after low-speed city bumps.

Packaging & Logistics

Low density and precise laser cutting make these foams ideal for electronics and optical goods. The anti-static grade offers surface resistivity of 10⁶–10⁸ Ω to guard sensitive boards from ESD. XPE’s insulation keeps vaccine and bioproduct shippers within 2–8 °C for up to 48 hours.

Energy & Petrochemicals

For upstream oil and LPG lines, cryogenic insulation uses low-porosity XPE that remains tough at −160 °C and resists vapor ingress. A 45 g/m² glass mesh can be laminated for reinforcement before applying metal or GRP jacketing. The system targets >25 years of service life and is designed per ASTM C585.

Sports & Wellness

EPE mats at 30–35 kg/m³ strike the balance between impact absorption and user stability. On home equipment such as the Ab Rocket, PU-coated SepehrFoam parts showed only ~3% thickness loss after 20,000 compression cycles—ideal for daily training.

Sustainability & Workplace Safety

An in-house recycling loop converts trim into secondary pellets, part of which feeds high-density foam lines. Online VOC monitoring keeps total organics under 150 mg/m³—well below national limits. A closed-loop cooling circuit reduces raw-water usage by about 40,000 m³ annually.

International Presence

Beyond nationwide coverage in Iran, SepehrFoam has achieved CE marking and introduced the first UL94 V-0 grade among Iranian foam makers, with regular exports to Iraq, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and the UAE. Flexible color options and logo printing on foil jackets allow regional HVAC OEMs to present branded systems.

SepehrFoam products—pipe insulation, foam rolls, and XPS panels—are supplied by the TamamBaha specialty store with authenticity assurance and technical advice.
